MIA

I've been MIA for a while because we have been super busy...BUYING OUR FIRST HOUSE. It all happened so fast!! Our lease on our apartment is up in December. We couldn't decide what we wanted to do: stay here, move to another apartment closer to down town, or rent a house. We had no intention to buy. At the end of Oct. we decided we would look for a house to rent, and finally give our baby Dixie a yard. We were looking around the communtiy our apartment was in, since we love this area. Everything was built in the 20's and really expensive and small. We just couldn't believe it. I got on-line and found a newer communtiy 10 minutes from where we are now and it was perfectly priced. Once we saw how much we were going to pay in rent, TJ figured out how much a morgage would be on a similar house. It was going to be $50 more to buy then rent. So we started looking for houses in the same communtiy to buy at the end of October. We drove by a couple of houses and called a real estate agent who listed one of them. We saw two houses, and decided to put an offer on the second one we saw. The rest happened so fast...a month later we are moving into our new house.
We are so excited to move from our cozy 700 sq. feet one bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. What am I going to do with all that space...I have no clue! I feel a lot of projects coming up. :)

So for the next couple of weeks not only do we have the holidays, a wedding, a birthday, we will be moving. It is going to be a crazy couple of weeks.
