Cowtown Showdown

Sunday was the 5th annual Cowtown Showdown. It is a flag football game between the Fort Worth Aggies and the Fort Worth Longhorns (Texas Exes), and afterwards there is a chili cook off. TJ played flag football with some friends in college and really enjoys it, so this is a perfect opportunity to display his skills. It started out as a really nice day. Dixie even got to join us. TJ had some really great plays during the game. Towards the end of the game it started to sprinkle, so Dixie and I headed back to the truck while everyone else continued to play. As soon as we got to the truck it started pouring down rain. TJ and the others finished the game. They came back soaked. I'm sad to report that the t-sips beat us by one touch down at the very end. Oh well maybe next year. TJ had fun and has the scrapes and bruises to prove it!! :)
