Weekend Snapshot

Wow what a busy weekend...my sister's birthday, a friend's celebration dinner, A&M game, NASCAR race, all in one weekend.

First up, my sister's 21st birthday. I just can't believe my baby sister is 21. For her actual birthday we joined my parents, nephews, and sisters at Texas Road House. They made my sister sit on a saddle while they sang Happy Birthday to her. It was great!!

Carson was scared at first when the staff started singing but ended up clapping with them.

Next, we had a dinner celebration for a good friend of ours who just found out she passed the Bar exam on Friday. We are so excited for her!! She is going to be a great lawyer.

On Saturday, we went to TJ's boss' house to watch the A&M game. They have an amazing patio set up to watch the game and grilled out. Dixie even got to come and she loved running and chasing the squarrels all afternoon. I'm sad I didn't bring my camera with me.

Sunday, TJ went with one of his friends from back home to the NASCAR race. He had never been before and really enjoyed it. I just don't get the enjoyment of watching cars go around and around for hours, but that's just me. Ha!

It was a busy weekend, but we enjoyed every bit of it!!
