It was pretty gloomy here all weekend with all the rain, but TJ and I each had a college roommate come into town to make all the rain a little better. Friday night started off with celebrating my sister's birthday at On the Border. We dined on the patio in the cool evening. It was perfect except for some very slow service. Happy Birthday to my awesome sister and best friend!!

What a cutie!!
Saturday, TJ and I took the rainy morning to sleep in, and sleep in is what we did until 11 a.m...which back in college wasn't anything, but most weekends we are lucky to sleep past 9 a.m. We had some time to relax before my college roommate knocked on our door. DaLynn and I lived together through some pretty tough years at school...Organic Chemistry, BioChemistry, Anatomy and Physiology and Genetics. She was the first person I ever met at Texas A&M. We didn't see each other much until our last few years when we decided to live together. I miss her so much...she moved down to South Texas with her hubby after we graduated. So I was super excited to have her in town for a visit. We met up with our friends Sue & Chad so DaLynn could meet Rory. We had dinner at a hole in the wall down the street - Margies. They have awesome Italian food, and aren't very busy even on a Saturday night, so we had no rush to get up from our table.
Dinner with friends
Sunday, TJ's college roommate and his wife came in town from Colorado. They are moving back to Texas and wanted to come say hi. We had lunch at another favorite hole in the wall, Dutch's. We got to catch up with them and are excited to have them close by again.

Ok, so I promise we do other things besides eat... I can't help it, we love to meet up with our friends and family for lunch/dinner.
Hope you had a great Monday!
