It was another "fly by" weekend for us. It started Friday night - TJ got tickets for the Fort Worth Cats opening weekend. They are a minor league baseball team. We went with our good friends Chad and Suzanne. We ate ball food and enjoyed the atmosphere and company. It was a good game, but the firework show afterwards was amazing!!!

Saturday was a rainy day. We stayed in for the most part, and enjoyed relaxing with a movie.
Sunday, Ed Young completed his series on the "Fashion Police" at church. TJ and I are working on putting on Gods armor everyday. He is such an amazing speaker!!
We decided that Dixie had been couped up enough in the house the last few weeks due to the rain, so we took her to the dog park. I guess everyone else in Fort Worth had the same idea. There were tons of dogs there, which Dixie didn't mind. She ran and played with them all! She loved every minute, and was exhaused the rest of the evening.

Sunday evening my parents, sister and nephews came up to attend another Cats' game. After moving seats a couple of times, thanks to my busy-body nephew, we enjoyed another good game, although the Cats lost. Jase entertained us all by dancing to the music. When the music went off so the player could bat, Jase would ask "Where music go?" Jase seemed to like watching the game, except for when the mascot (Dodger) would come out. He wasn't quite sure what to think of him. At first he kept calling it a lion, but after a few corrections he wouldn't take his eyes off the giant cat. When the game was over, they invited all the kids on to the field to run the bases. We thought Jase would love to do that, so TJ put him on his shoulders and took him down, but just as they opened the gate to let them on the field, Jase decided he didn't want to go and started screaming. TJ ran anyway with Jase clenching his face, and Jase ended up having a great time. Carson slept through most of the game, but woke up at the end and watched the cheerleaders' (I guess that's what you call them) shiny pom-poms.
